Imagine Yourself at the River's Bend
Great Vacations Inspire You…
Nestled within the peaceful woodlands of Northern Maine, Riverbend Cabin & Sauna is your rustic retreat to get away from it all. Situated along the north branch of the Meduxnekeag River, this two-room 260 square-foot log & stick frame cabin was built with the intention to inspire its occupants.
… Let Nature Wash Over You.
The Cabin's Beauty is Simplicity Itself
We welcome Artists – especially the aspiring kind! Riverbend Cabin’s environment offers opportunities that will spark your senses and new ideas.
Responsible ATV-ers, cross-country skiers and snow sledders who want to be near the ITS are also welcome.
While it is ideal for two people, larger parties are welcome during the warm season. There is plenty of room for tents outside the cabin for a safe camping environment, family reunions, corporate team-building events, and the good old fashioned barbecue.
The owners, Dave & Linda, live nearby (but are out of sight) and available to answer any questions.

How To Get Here:
We are located 10 miles north from the exit ramp in Houlton in the town of Monticello, Maine. You will pass through the town of Littleton (town center is the Citgo gas station) and you will pass the Blue Moose restaurant on your Left (as you drive north). Go over and down the hill, slow down, pass the Station Road (on your Left) and you will see a red ranch style house on your Left. Take the drive directly after this house. Look for #340. You will go up a driveway of a green and white farmhouse, follow the drive between the shed on your left and the garage on your right. Drive about one-half mile down the farm road (you’ll cross the ATV trail) until you see our stone driveway – come in and we’ll get you checked in and oriented!
As you drive into Monticello, you will drive through town. You will cross a bridge over the river, you will see the Post Office on your right. You will pass a little market/convenience store on your left. You will actually be heading out of town about to go up the big hill. Watch for #340 on the right.
